2025 ClimSA User Survey - Shaping the Future of Climate Services

Take the ClimSA 2025 User Survey on Climate Services

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 ClimSA User Survey, which seeks feedback on the use and evaluation of climate services in specific sectoral applications. The findings will help inform the development of the ClimSA Climate Services Sustainability Strategy.

Whether you’ve engaged with climate information services through the Intra-ACP Climate Services and Related Applications (ClimSA) Programme or in other contexts, this is your chance to make your voice heard a bit more. Your insights and experiences are not only valuable — they are essential. By completing this short, targeted survey, you will directly contribute to the design of a potential successor initiative on the climate services application and early warning systems (ClimSANEWS).

At this pivotal moment, your input will help lay the groundwork for stronger, more adaptive climate-resilient development — ensuring the progress achieved through ClimSA continues to grow and deliver real impact for years to come.

Why this matters

The world is changing, and so is our climate. To build societies that are resilient, responsive, and ready for the future, we must put knowledge into action. That begins with listening to those on the front lines — the users of climate services. Whether your work intersects with agriculture, water, energy, health, disaster risk reduction, or tourism, your perspective can help guide smarter policies, better tools and stronger networks. This survey is being conducted by the Organisation of the African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) Secretariat. All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence and analysed in an aggregated and anonymised format. Findings will feed into a long-term sustainability strategy for ClimSA and may also be featured in official reports and academic publications.

Who should participate?

Please note that this survey is specifically intended for users of climate information services — individuals and institutions who rely on climate data for planning, decision-making, and operations — not providers of such services.

Your contribution counts

Your participation will take approximately 20 minutes, but the insights you provide could help shape climate services for an entire region. Join us in this important effort. Let’s co-create a climate-resilient future — informed, inclusive, and impactful.
