The inaugural ClimSA Forum – ClimSA’21 – took place on 15th, 16th and 18th November 2021hosted by the Government of Kenya. It gathered online about 400 stakeholders as well as climate information providers and users from all the regions of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS).
Sessions touched on the five target areas/sectors of the programme, being: agriculture and food security, energy, water, health and disaster risk reduction.
Participants exchanged insights, the results of their work and lessons learned & best practices – all in order to enhance and improve the quality of climate services in the OACPS regions. In turn these will improve the impact of climate informed decision making processes for fostering sustainable development and building resilience.
